Personal Data Processing Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) has been drafted in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 “On Personal Data” and defines the procedure for processing personal data and measures to ensure the security of personal data by Sole Proprietor Maria Vladimirovna Vizer (TIN/OGRNIP 672207897053/320774600441471) (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”).

1.2. The Operator considers the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms during the processing of personal data, including the protection of the right to privacy, personal and family secrets, to be one of its most important goals and conditions for carrying out its activities.

1.3. This Policy applies to all information that the Operator may receive about visitors and users of the following websites:

2. Terms and Definitions

2.1. Automated processing of personal data – processing of personal data using computer technology in an automatic mode without constant human involvement.

2.2. Blocking of personal data – temporary suspension of the processing of personal data (except where processing is necessary to clarify personal data).

2.3. Website – a composite work consisting of a set of information, texts, graphic elements, designs, images, photo and video materials, and other results of intellectual activity, contained in an information system that ensures access to such information via the Internet within the domain zones: https://synonyme.ru/ and https://synonyme.store/.

2.4. Personal data information system – a set of personal data contained in databases and the information technologies and technical means ensuring their processing.

2.5. Depersonalization of personal data – actions resulting in the inability to determine the affiliation of personal data to a specific User or another subject without the use of additional information.

2.6. Processing of personal data – any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of automation tools with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of personal data.

2.12. Destruction of personal data – any actions resulting in the irreversible destruction of personal data with no possibility of further restoration in the personal data information system and/or resulting in the destruction of tangible personal data carriers.

3. Personal Data of Users

3.1. The Operator may process the following personal data of Users:

3.1.1. Last name, first name, and patronymic (depending on which data the User has provided);

3.1.2. Email address.

3.2. The website may also collect and process anonymized data about visitors (including cookies) using Internet analytics services (Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics, etc.), and this will be disclosed on the site.

4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

4.1. The purpose of processing the User’s personal data is:

4.1.1. Providing access to the website’s services (forms) that allow the User to leave a comment (review) about the products and services presented on the Operator’s website.

4.2. The User can always opt out of receiving informational messages by sending a request to the Operator at help@synonyme.ru with the subject “Opt-out of product and service updates and special offers” or “Refusal to provide personal data.”

5. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

5.1. The Operator processes the User’s personal data only if they are voluntarily provided by the User through special forms on the Operator’s websites specified in Clause 1.3 of this Policy. By filling out the forms and/or submitting their personal data, the User consents to this Policy.

5.2. The Operator processes anonymized data if allowed by the User’s browser settings (e.g., allowing cookies and JavaScript).

5.3. Anonymized data collected through analytics services are used to gather information on user actions, improve website quality, and optimize its content.

6. Procedure for Collection, Storage, Transfer, and Other Processing of Personal Data

6.5. The processing period for personal data is unlimited. The User may revoke their consent to data processing at any time by sending a notification to help@synonyme.ru with the subject “Revocation of Consent to Personal Data Processing.” Upon such revocation, any comments (reviews) made by the User will be automatically removed from the Operator’s website and/or become inaccessible to other Users.

7. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data

7.1. Before initiating a cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator must ensure that the foreign country provides adequate protection of the rights of data subjects.

7.2. Cross-border transfer of personal data to countries not meeting these requirements is allowed only with the User’s written consent and/or for performance of a contract to which the User is a party.

8. Final Provisions

8.1. The User may contact the Operator at help@synonyme.ru for any clarification regarding the processing of their personal data.

8.2. The Operator will reflect any changes to this Policy by updating it on the website. The Policy remains in effect indefinitely until replaced by a new version.
